Document releasing Samuel Jones and the other executors of the will of Elbert Haring from all demands by John Haring or his wife, Mary. Has received of Samuel Jones 65 pounds 10 shillings 8 pence, consisting of his and his wife Mary's share and the proceeds from the sale of the house at Peck Slip, the lands at Haerlem, etc.

John Haring (September 28, 1739 – April 1, 1809) was an American lawyer and politician from New York. He was a delegate for New York to the Continental Congress. Born in Tappan in the Province of New York, Haring attended school in New York City, studied law, and was admitted to the bar. He practiced in New York City and Rockland County and served as a county judge in Orange County.
